Hi, I’m Claire Bullimore — writer, speaker, advocate, and creator of Aunty M Brain Tumours.
I use my platform to speak openly about life with a brain tumour, sharing the realities many people face but few talk about. My story is one of resilience, humour, honesty, and finding strength in the most unexpected places.
I’m also the author of A Brain Tumour’s Travel Tale: Cards on the Table, I Pooed Myself, a heartfelt and funny account of my illness, treatment, and the unpredictable journey that followed. It’s real, raw, emotional, and full of the kind of humour that gets us through hard days.
Audible Version Coming Soon
I also host the Aunty M Brain Tumours Talk Show Podcast, where I share honest conversations, personal experiences, guest interviews, and real talk about brain tumours, wellbeing, resilience, and life beyond diagnosis. It’s a supportive space filled with honesty, hope, and humour.

Through Aunty M Brain Tumours, my book, and my podcast, I aim to raise awareness, support others affected by brain tumours, and create a space where people feel seen, understood, and less alone.
If I could give any wisdom, I’d say: don’t let the word ‘tumour’ steal the word ‘life.’ I carried both, side by side, and I learned that laughter, connection, and love outlast even the scariest diagnosis. Keep sharing your stories, keep finding each other in the dark corners, and keep making noise for awareness — because silence never saved anyone.

Why I Share My Story
Because life can be hard, messy, emotional, and sometimes hilarious. If my story helps just one person feel stronger, laugh in a dark moment, or feel less alone, then it’s worth telling.
Thanks for being here.
