Thank you for sharing your journey Sara. I have been recently diagnosed with an Acoustic Neuroma. My symptoms are very similar to yours. Joint pain, dizziness/ wobbly, headaches, etc. I’m in the early stages of what will happen next and am scared of what will become. My neuroma went from 9 mm to 13.7 mm in a month. I’d love to reach out to Sara and anyone who is currently going through this or has recovered.

Blessings,
Heidi

Hi Morin, I am so glad they were able to remove the tumour. It is completely. It is understandable that you have anxiety. Hopefully speaking with somebody will help with that is some way, help built your confidence back up. Have you been able to get the right dosage and tablets for the seizures? Claire.

Hi, I can relate to this myself. Lived my entire life with the tumor, more or less since I was 11 and im 40. Horrible headaches my entire life, major anxiety and my hands were always shaking and I was always told it was a migraine or stress related. My life was changing or may I say the headaches were killing me. On April 14, 2024 decided to go into ER for the chronic headaches and that's when the news was given to me. I was already out of it. Had my sister on speaker and she heard everything and ran to my room and she saw I was not well. Had my craniotomy surgery on April 18. 2024 and the meningioma was removed size of a baseball . Was in hospital for 3 weeks after surgery. After surgery ive had memory loss, seizures (certain things triggered them) and anxiety I still have it and also major panic attacks, I started seeing a psychologist, psychiatrist and soon a neurologist for continous of my chronic headaches . Positive side my hands stopped shaking. And I'm Alive. I can see. Hear and talk. I'm blessed for God giving me another chance to live and my Neurosurgeon for doing an amazing surgery .

Hello
I found your article to be helpful
Especially about procedure and what some of the steps are with sergury and family & friends.
Some people ,friends will step away…I can understand they also deal with their own problems and can’t always take on more responsibilities.
I was just presented with a brain tumor called suspitien Glioma effecting the area precentral motor control ( right side)
We don’t know if it is benign or Melignat
Surgery is necessary for this.
Complete removal is required so regrown is and additional surgery will not be necessary.
The surgeon team is currently discussing my case & will return today for my decision to carry on with the surgery.

If there are more groups that I can reach out to could you please send my way.
God bless & continue to heal..praying for you
